As part of its commitment to its customers and to Sprint, VIP Wireless has re-launched a new site in sync with Sprint's new campaign, "Speed Ahead."

The site and store locations will still carry the same products, plans, and handsets sold on the former site but with more "speed".

VIP Wireless has just signed a deal with Wired 96.5 to host on-site 'Penny Drive' events at various store locations between now and the end of October. Students from local high schools are being encouraged to bring in their spare pennies to various VIP Wireless stores, where their contributions will be tallied, and the school whose students have donated the most change will win an exclusive concert at their school with a prominent recording artist.

Nextel customers now have six more locations where they can go for phone service and repair. VIP Wireless has just opened Nextel Authorized Service Centers in Center City (PA), Downingtown (PA), Doylestown (PA), Lansdale (PA), Hamilton (NJ), and Woodbury (NJ), in addition to their existing location in Feasterville (PA).

Each location offers Nextel customers a wide range of service and repair options, such as software upgrades, programming updates, button and flip replacements, and much more.

In keeping with the VIP Wireless tradition of quick and reliable customer care, most of the services and repairs are completed in under one hour. When asked why he decided to add so many new Service Center locations, Jack Huston, president and CEO of VIP Wireless, said "The more Service Center locations we have, the easier it is for our customers to get what they require. Nextel has scheduled the launch of the new Motorola i710 for July 1, 2004. This will be the second phone Nextel has released in the past month; the Motorola i830, Nextel's slimmest phone ever, was released in mid-May.

While the i830 contains a more extensive set of features, such as a front LCD for Caller ID, the i710 boasts a 65K color display, speakerphone, GPS tracking, and is Java-enabled, making it sure to be in high demand.
